Occupation: Assembly and test specialist

How many days a year do you hunt? Around 60 days a year.

Favorite piece of gear? My Hoyt Trykon bow. I love shooting with archery equipment and the Trykon has been the best bow I have shot.

Gear you splurged on? Double Bull Matrix. I wanted a good blind to hunt out of and bought it on an impulse buy.

Most memorable outing in Illinois? Two years ago during shotgun season, I was sitting in a ground blind with my mom taping her hunt and we where just being really goofy that day. Had does come buy all day long and right at dark saw the biggest buck of my life with no opportunity to shoot him.

What got you interested in hunting? My mom and stepdad. They have lived in the country all their life and I use to tag along with my stepdad when I was young to go hunt coon, squirrels and coyote and just fell in love with being in the outdoors.

How long have you been hunting? Just over seven years.

Favorite species to hunt? Whitetail. Practicing quality managment all year long to have the opportunity at a Boone and Crockett buck makes me smile like a little boy.

What breed hunting dog do you have? Don't have any hunting dogs, but do have a couple of lap dogs.

Favorite places to hunt in Illinois? Fulton County where I have lived all my life. Doesn't get much better in the middle of big buck country.
